Loving this sweet and sassy new collaboration between Marina and the Diamonds and Charli XCX, two of our favorite Brit-pop weirdos. “Just Desserts” is the perfect, revenge-fueled in-between of their respective styles, and those seeing them when they tour together (in the US) this summer will probably get to see it live!
Really loving the punk influence on Kate Nash’s new record, Girl Talk. After the commercially successful indie-pop of Made of Bricks and the unconvincing retro-soul of My Best Friend is You, it seems like Nash has finally found her sound. The Brit also released the album on her brand new record label, Have 10p Records, after being dropped from Universal Music Group subsidiary Fiction Records. Sisters are doing it for themselves!
Our favorite tracks: “Death Proof”, “Part Heart”, “Conventional Girl”, “3AM”.
Ssion continues to glitter bomb us out of our suburban upbringings in their newest music video HIGH written & directed by wicked frontman Cody Critcheloe.
We’re loving this dark and dreamy new track from Brooklyn duo CREEP, “Call Her” ft. Tricky and Alejandra De Heza (of School of Seven Bells).
